Connection types
Three ways to connect. One system to bill them.
Assign each router port to PPPoE, hotspot or DHCP/IPoE. Every customer shares the same packages, payments, reminders and reports.

- Homes and offices on monthly plans
- How customers connect
- Username and password on the customer’s router
- At expiry
- Session disconnected on the router
Hotspot
- Best for

- How customers connect
- Your branded login page: M-Pesa, voucher or sign-in
- At expiry
- Session ends when the time is up
DHCP / IPoE
- Best for
- Fibre ONTs, simple routers and fixed IPs
- How customers connect
- Plug in; recognised by the device’s MAC
- At expiry
- Lease not renewed after the plan ends

Payments
Your money never touches us.
Pick your M-Pesa till, paybill or bank account once. Every prompt your customers approve pays you directly. Wave only sees that it succeeded, so it can switch them on.

FAQ
Questions ISP owners ask us.
What is Wave Billing?
Wave Billing is ISP billing and network management software for internet providers that run MikroTik routers. It bills PPPoE, hotspot and DHCP/IPoE customers, collects M-Pesa payments into the ISP’s own account, disconnects and reconnects customers automatically, sends SMS and WhatsApp messages, and monitors routers live.
Where does my customers’ money go?
Straight into your own M-Pesa till, paybill or bank account. Wave never holds ISPs’ money.
What happens when a customer pays?
Wave confirms the payment, extends the customer’s plan, reconnects them, marks their invoice paid and sends a receipt by SMS or WhatsApp if you have messages switched on.
How much does Wave cost?
Wave is Pay Go: 3% of hotspot sales paid through Wave, plus KES 25 per active PPPoE or DHCP/IPoE account each month, with a minimum of KES 515 a month across all your services. There is no setup fee.
How do I sign up?
Create your account on the sign-up page with your ISP’s name, your details and a password. The Wave team checks and activates new accounts and lets you know when yours is ready.
What if I pay my Wave bill late?
You get reminders. If a bill stays unpaid past its due date and grace period, your Wave dashboard becomes read-only for setup changes until it is paid. Your customers’ internet, renewals and payments keep working.
Does Wave work with routers other than MikroTik?
Wave manages MikroTik routers running RouterOS for billing and monitoring. Customer routers and ONTs from other brands can be managed over TR-069.
Can I move my existing customers to Wave?
Yes. Add your packages, then add your customers with their usernames, packages and expiry dates. If you keep the same PPPoE usernames and passwords, their routers don’t need to change.
Ready to stop chasing payments?
Create your account today. The Wave team activates new ISPs, then you connect a router with one line and start selling.
