How much does Wave cost?
Wave is Pay Go: 3% of hotspot sales paid through Wave, plus KES 25 per active PPPoE or DHCP/IPoE account each month, with a minimum of KES 515 a month across all your services. There is no setup fee.
Are printed vouchers charged?
No. The hotspot fee only applies to sales paid through Wave (M-Pesa on the WiFi page). Vouchers you print and sell for cash are not charged.
Is my first month charged in full?
No. The monthly base charge is pro-rated in your first month.
What if I pay my Wave bill late?
You get reminders. If a bill stays unpaid past its due date and grace period, your Wave dashboard becomes read-only for setup changes until it is paid. Your customers’ internet, renewals and payments keep working.
Are there different plans or tiers?
No. Every ISP gets every feature. You only pay for what you use: hotspot sales through Wave and active subscriber accounts.
How do I pay my Wave bill?
From Wave Subscription in your dashboard, with an M-Pesa prompt. Bills are issued on the 1st for the month before.
Do I pay Wave for SMS?
No. You connect your own SMS gateway account (Africa’s Talking, JulySMS, BlessedText or Celcom) and pay your provider directly.
