Yes. Wave runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer. Your routers connect to Wave, so there is no billing server to install in your office.

Wave manages MikroTik routers running RouterOS for billing and monitoring. Customer routers and ONTs from other brands can be managed over TR-069.

Create your account on the sign-up page with your ISP’s name, your details and a password. The Wave team checks and activates new accounts and lets you know when yours is ready.

Connecting a router takes one terminal command. Most ISPs have their first router, packages and payment account set up in under an hour.

Yes. Add your packages, then add your customers with their usernames, packages and expiry dates. If you keep the same PPPoE usernames and passwords, their routers don’t need to change.

Connecting a router needs someone who can open the MikroTik terminal and paste a command. Everything after that, from adding customers to reading reports, is designed for non-technical staff.

By M-Pesa. Hotspot visitors pay on the WiFi login page, subscribers pay from their account page, and staff can send a payment prompt when renewing a customer. Cash payments can be recorded too.

Straight into your own M-Pesa till, paybill or bank account. Wave never holds ISPs’ money.

Wave confirms the payment, extends the customer’s plan, reconnects them, marks their invoice paid and sends a receipt by SMS or WhatsApp if you have messages switched on.

Wave checks expiry every minute. Expired accounts are switched off and disconnected on the router, and the customer can get a “plan ended” message with how to pay.

Wave is Pay Go: 3% of hotspot sales paid through Wave, plus KES 25 per active PPPoE or DHCP/IPoE account each month, with a minimum of KES 515 a month across all your services. There is no setup fee.

No. The hotspot fee only applies to sales paid through Wave (M-Pesa on the WiFi page). Vouchers you print and sell for cash are not charged.

No. The monthly base charge is pro-rated in your first month.

You get reminders. If a bill stays unpaid past its due date and grace period, your Wave dashboard becomes read-only for setup changes until it is paid. Your customers’ internet, renewals and payments keep working.

No. Every ISP’s data is kept separate, every page checks who is signed in, and TR-069 devices are only shown to the ISP whose customer they belong to.

Owners control money, team members and sensitive actions. Staff can manage customers and renew paid accounts but can’t give free time or discounts.

You get an alert when a router goes offline. Payments are still confirmed and plans extended in Wave, and every login is checked against the customer’s latest plan when they reconnect.
