MikroTik management

Add a MikroTik in one line. Watch it live.

Paste one command into the MikroTik terminal and Wave creates its own API user, registers the router, discovers its ports and starts monitoring. Then assign each port to PPPoE, hotspot or DHCP/IPoE.

Quick answer

How do I connect a MikroTik router to Wave?

In Wave, go to Routers, add a router and give it a name. Wave shows a one-line command; paste it into the MikroTik terminal. The router downloads a setup script that creates a dedicated API user and registers it with Wave, which then discovers its ports and starts monitoring it every minute.

What you get

MikroTik management, done properly.

  • One-line setup

No manual API users or scripts to write. Paste one command and the router registers itself.

  • Health every minute

CPU, memory, storage, temperature, voltage, per-port traffic and connected users.

  • 30 days of history

See what happened overnight or last week, not just right now.

  • Alerts that matter

In-app alerts when a router goes offline, runs hot or is overloaded.

  • Ports by purpose

Assign each port to PPPoE, hotspot or DHCP/IPoE and Wave configures it.

  • Many routers, one view

Switch the whole dashboard to one router, or see your entire network at once.

How it works

From setup to selling.

  1. 01

    Name the router

Routers → Add Router in Wave.

  2. 02

    Paste one command

Into the MikroTik terminal (Winbox or SSH).

  3. 03

    Assign the ports

PPPoE, hotspot or DHCP/IPoE, per port.

  4. 04

    Monitoring starts

Health, traffic and users every minute, with alerts.

Questions

MikroTik management: your questions answered.

Which routers does Wave support?

Wave manages MikroTik routers running RouterOS. Customer routers and ONTs behind them can be managed separately over TR-069.

Do I need a public IP on the router?

Wave manages the router through the RouterOS API, so Wave must be able to reach the router: a public IP, or a private link such as a VPN you already run. The setup command switches the API on and creates a dedicated API user for Wave.

What does Wave monitor?

Every minute: CPU, memory, storage, temperature, voltage, per-port traffic and connected users, with 30 days of history and alerts when a router is offline, hot or overloaded.

Can I manage several routers?

Yes. Add as many routers as you run. The header’s router switcher limits the dashboard, customers, sessions and reports to one router when you want.
